The Postgraduate Program in Chemistry (PPGQ) at the Federal University of Goiás - Catalão Campus (UFG/RC), Academic Master´s Degree, was created and recommended in November 2010 by CAPES/MEC and was awardedgrade 3 (three).The program started in the second Semester of 2011. The PPGQ/UFG/RC has an area of concentration in Chemistry and is divided into three lines of research:

1. Natural Product Chemistry and Biomolecules;

2. The Environment;

3. Material Chemistry.

The PPGQ/UFG/RC provides opportunities for Postgraduate students to develop their studies from the domain of essential conceptual and methodological instruments in Chemistry, qualifying them to work as lecturers in higher education institutions, and researchers in industries, research and teaching institutes.
